Krishna & Mark’s wedding is super special to me. I had done a shoot for Krishna’s family sweet shop in Kolkata about 3 years back, right before the pandemic. She had seen my work online and got in touch with me, and it was such a brilliant experience getting to document the entire process of handmade Bengali sweets. Fast forward to a few months back, Krishna messaged me that she loved my work last time & to check if I’d like to do her wedding photography. I was delighted! 

They had a cozy Mehendi ceremony, on the terrace of their home, just for close friends & family. Winter afternoon spent chilling on the terrace, with the closest of people, listening to music, eating good food, perfect way to begin the wedding festivities.. This was followed by the reception & wedding the next day. The wedding itself was the shortest & sweetest one I’ve ever shot till date! Just ‘Mala-bodol’ or ‘Varmala’. That’s it! 

But that’s not even the best part… Like any photographer’s dream, the bride & groom were ready well before time. They reached the venue (which was again a delight to shoot at!) with enough time to get some couple portraits done! And then some more after the wedding.
